I have started to look at Richard Sweeney since I have started to begin looking at origami for my lasercutting project since I wanted more unusual shapes but struggled to create them. I then found his work and have started to look into the way the shapes move and started to experiment with them on the mannequins. I am hoping that his work and the use of Origami can give me the shapes that I need to progress further so that I can create an interesting jacket.
